Oakville Raiders
Working Bee Dec 2011

Just wanted everyone to share our excitement about how good our field looks after our last working bee. This is by far the most successful working bee we have ever witnessed

Thank you to all those members who were able to get down to the Park at what is a very busy time of year.

Thank you also to all those who were able to bring in the big machinery that made the work look easier. As you can see from the before and after shots (more will be on our website later) our field now looks awesome and ready for the second half of our season. These pictures show just how much work was completed in 6 hours. (Also see the batting tunnel gallery)

U17's Game 13 V's Baulkham Hills 18.12.11

So the last game of the year was an absolute cracker!! They boys pulled together for an action packed thriller against the best in the comp. The highlight is the win!! WELL DONE GUYS!!!

We had some fun and mixed it up and it payed off great. Sneaky false signals and an interesting twist to the usual set up.

The boys really pushed hard taking good strong leads on base running and listening well to calls. They got the reward they deserved. They went out with the attitude to win. All of them batted really well against some good pitchers and they had a go.

Fantastic! Great catches and solid outs were made. The boys band together as a team with a good sense of mateship and when they bring it into this new year it will be rewarded. Good luck boys. Get in there and have a go. You have done great and we are all proud of your effort and excited for more!

Regards
Tristan
