We played one short against the minor premiers this week and went down by two, in a close game.

Pitching and catching was great again, high lights were Dean's home run and an outstanding effort by Lachlan, Matthew and Sam in a great double play at 1st and then home. The ball was hit back to Lachlan at pitcher, who turned and held a runner at 3, then turned around, threw the batter out at 1st, Matt then did a smart thing by throwing the ball to Sam at the plate to get the runner from 3rd out at home. Great work guys, the play looked real good to finish the game and almost forcing another innings which may have seen us win the game.

 We move into the semi's now, finishing 3rd, with a great chance to go all the way, not bad for a first year 14's side. Well done.

 Awards this week went to Lachlan and Matt.
