Well guys we almost made it to the grand final going down 6-7 in a close game. We had a nice first innings scoring 2 runs with some clever batting when Kyle W scored after an over throw at first then Nick hit another sacrifice to score Dean.

Our first fielding innings saw a few nerves to allow the opposition score 3. In the 2nd the score stayed the same and then in the 3rd we jumped ahead 6-3 after loading the bases a couple of times. Top of the 4th and we had loaded bases again but just couldn't get a nice clean hit away to score any. Bottom of ther 4th and we had to defend our lead but the Eagles hit well and eventually got their noses in front.

On behalf of the coaching staff I would like to congratulate all you guys for a job well done, to get to a final in your first year at 14's is a great effort. We said at the beginning of the year that we were all learning a new game, 14's is a much different game to 12's and to learn the changes and then play them and get to a final is awsome. Next year we will be better for the expirience and we might even go one step further.
